TypewriterPoetry&Paint offers a truly authentic guest engagement with our  “Personalized Painted Poems” activation.  The activation offers attendees an experience that is unique, interactive, personalized, and engaging.  Each interaction culminates in a live-created-typewritten and water-color-painted poem keepsake for each participant based on their prompts and stories.

The latest addition to this activation is an optional collaboration with the artist and painter Lindsey Orrin known as Flamgu to LIVE-PAINT each guest’s poem in real time also based on their poem and wishes. Adding a whole new level of artistry and personalization for each guest.

The poem is offered to be read aloud and the overall interaction is often met genuinely with a variety emotive responses, varying from laughter to amazement to tears.

The process from start to finish typically lasts about 6 minutes (when there is a line of guests) and can be longer as time allows. 

People often tell us the painted poem is given a special place in their homes and offices and  holds impact long after the event ends, which includes the event name and date.

We require very little other than  a conversational space and a 5x5 ft foot print in order to live create and interact with participants.

  • All we need from you is clarity on the vision for your event and we will curate our process and activation specifically to your event space and schedules. We require very little other than a conversational space to live create and interact with your guests and communication about any additional programming you would like for your event, such as a Poetry & Painting Gallery, on stage performances, large scale live painting, and/or large display poems created pre-event.
