Typewriter Poetry & Paint live creates authentic guest engagement & one of a kind personalized painted poem keepsakes for every guest

As an event typewriter poet, Isaiah Halpin, creates “poems for people” based on their prompts and stories on a mid 1950‘s manual typewriter on hand-painted watercolor paper. The interactive art-form of listening and producing custom poems live on the spot for guests, connects the human experience with the each individual’s story. The poem is offered to be read aloud and the end result is an authentic poetic keepsake for each guest to take home sharing their story.

The typewriter poetry activation is a personalized interactive art-form creating meaningful and memorable interactions at any occasion where people are gathered: including receptions, corporate events, music and arts festivals, retreats, conferences, and pop-up markets. Generally each interaction is between 4-10 minutes, yet the impact lasts long after the event has ended, as many people say they treasure their poem and it is given a special place in the lives and homes.

Isaiah Halpin has now written thousands of poems for over a thousand patrons. He recently expanded his typewriter poet activation to include optional LIVE-PAINTING of each poem in real time for your guests through an artist collaboration with Lindsey Orrin @Flamgu.com

The fortunate coherence of this collaboration has added a whole new depth to the art form and a whole new level of guest engagement as their poems and stories are then painted according to their wishes, creating a truly one of a kind “personalized painted poem keepsake”.
